ColoGuard Launches Infrastructure Stability Challenge

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 28, 2013

ColoGuard, a leading provider of reliable and secure colocation solutions, today challenged businesses to review the security, availability and stability of their infrastructure and data in light of recent hacker attacks and natural disasters. For a limited time, ColoGuard is waiving setup fees for those that discover that they are paying too much for too little security and not enough stability.

ColoGuard and its sister company GalaxyVisions have been offering secure colocation and other data center services for more than a decade. Unlike other providers, ColoGuard takes a holistic approach to security, availability and stability, and it incorporates them into every phase of its relationship with customers, from the initial analysis to the day-to-day maintenance of the client’s infrastructure.

“We believe many businesses will find two things: Security safeguards are lacking and too much money is being spent on maintaining mission-critical services on site,” said Ruben Magurdumov, vice president and co-founder of ColoGuard. “ColoGuard can provide the right solutions at a price that won’t break the bank.”

Countless businesses are discovering vulnerabilities the hard way. Recent news stories reveal the threat to infrastructure and data from external hackers. Several media companies with in-house data centers, for example, recently reported that intruders from China broke into their systems and accessed sensitive information.

The other threat is from Mother Nature. Last fall, Hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast of the United States, knocking out data centers and the services they provide. A number of sites with infrastructure in Manhattan went offline for several days following the storm. But companies that colocate with ColoGuard remained online and fully operational during Sandy and the storms aftermath.

ColoGuard proved the power of its solutions during and after Hurricane Sandy, Magurdumov said. We hope that all organizations will take the time to assess the security of their applications and infrastructure stability and redundancy.

By partnering with ColoGuard, companies locate their servers at a state-of-the-art data center and leverage the strength of ColoGuards investments and expertise.

“The security of infrastructure, whether data or applications, is at the heart of any successful modern business,” Magurdumov said. “ColoGuard understands this from its own business and from working with customers to minimize risk with reliable, secure and affordable solutions.”

ColoGuards fast, direct connections and iron-clad security are used by hundreds of companies. Its 15,000-square-foot data center safeguards sensitive medical records for hospitals and other health-care providers. And its the colocation provider of choice for Internet telephony providers who count on low latency uninterrupted connections for crystal-clear calls to any location on the planet.
